Back From The Long Weekend

Last Thursday was really fun because I was able to go to the Spring Fair with my friends. Also had all you can eat sushi that day. For photos (and yay a video), you guys should check out Joey’s blog! :) You will see Bear. He’s very cute.

I went to Whistler yesterday (Friday) and went back home this afternoon. I’m so tired. I took a couple of pictures though, here you go:

Now that I’m back home, I have to start working on my final projects. I’ve had enough rest!

Ditch, Drop, Dream

This might be a bit evil, boys.

Girls, I dare you to ditch the guys this Valentines! I dare you to drop everything and dream. It’s about time we acknowledge a different kind of love. Don’t let anyone else get in the way :p

Here are things you could do:

1. Learn to love reading

Here is a list of good books that you can read this Valentine’s Day:

- The History of Love by Nicole Krauss

- The Tiny Book of Tiny Stories by Joseph Gordon-Levitt

- Trainman by Nakano Hitori

- The Gaze by Elif Safak

- The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran

2. Collect quotes

Here are a few of my current favourites:

“Our love was the affliction for which only our love was the cure.”

“And during the course of each day his heart would descend from his chest into his stomach.”

– Both from Everything is Illuminated by Jonathan Safran Foer

*

“An average of seventy-four species become extinct every day, which was one good reason but not the only one to hold someone’s hand.”

– The History of Love by Nicole Krauss

*

“Kids, she says. When they’re little, they believe everything you tell them about the world. As a mother, you’re the world almanac and the encyclopedia and the dictionary and the Bible, all rolled up together. But after they hit some magic age, it’s just the opposite. After that, you’re either a liar or a fool or a villain.”

– Haunted by Chuck Palahniuk

3. Take pictures of what you see

Of course, these are only my suggestions. There are the things that I like to do. Do what you like and be happy, single or not :) If Swarovski wholesale makes you happy, then go for it! Haha.
