DIY Hydrating Mask

Good for Sensitive Skin!

This tutorial was inspired by Michelle Phan’s DIY hydrating cotton mask video. I looked up the product that she used and found that it might not work out for people with sensitive skin…but I’m not really sure. I have sensitive skin so I tried to kind of make my own kind of mask to avoid any problems :3

What I used:

1. Laneige Water Bank essence
2. Mask. Just a plain one! I got it from an Asian store.

First, take out 1 mask sheet! Here’s the pack I got:

Yes, we are going to impregnate your mask. No, I really think that’s the proper word for it. We are not going to soak the mask with essence. We are going to impregnate it.

Next, pump out essence into the cap of the Laneige bottle (I didn’t put in too much though, maybe like 5-6 pumps?) and mix it with a bit of water. Then, impregnate the mask (folded) with the essence+water. Do not proceed to the next step unless your mask is already pregnant.

Next, unfold the mask and put in on your face.

Keep the mask on for 10-15 minutes and then take it off :3

NO I DON’T LOOK FUNNY OK?

Then you can go on with the next steps of your skincare routine ^_^. It’s so simple :) It worked for me. My face feels so soft right now, yay! I hope it works out great for everyone else who wants to try it, too :3

Enjoy the rest of the week :B

Christmas 2011

Before anything else, I’d like to say that my Christmas (+New Years) video will be up on the first week of January. Nothing super special, but it’s something I would like to share :3

Last Saturday (Christmas eve), my family stayed at River Rock Casino Resort. It was quite funny because the place is barely even an hour away from our house. We still went anyway because that place is really pretty! My sisters and my mom all went for a swim at the indoor pool (which I never got to see because I didn’t want to leave the cute cute hotel room). We didn’t go to play casino or anything, lol (not even sports betting or checking out sports betting reviews or whatever). All I did there was eat sushi, chocolates and cheese popcorn (3 of my favourite foods). Also, for noche buena, we ate burger and poutine. I didn’t finish the burger because I had no idea my brother bought me something with ham in it. Two churchmates came to visit. They brought us pancit (OH YUM).

Sushi all day.

My brother’s foot, ew.

Christmas morning breakfast. My colour settings were off, sorry.

Other than that, Christmas was pretty normal. Well, wait, not really. I got a few (but cool) presents from my mom and churchmates… so I guess that makes Christmas 2011 pretty great :3

Today, December 27th, I got myself small presents ~lulz~.

First, I got meself a corkboard and a set of pins for it:

Also got mehself razor for eyebrows, for face and for armpits hihihi sssh. Btw, the single pink razor is one meanie. Be careful with the sharp thingamajig. I hurt myself twice with it.

Aaaand you can’t read it (screw the lighting), but this one is Skinfood’s Green Tea Bubble Cleansing Foam. The smell isn’t unique (smells like…soap!), but it does make my face feel cleaner after using~

I got Green Tea cleanser because I heard anything with green tea helps fix redness, etc. Cucumber, too.

~~~
I’ll also post my final list of New Year’s Resolutions on my next post! Enjoy the holidays!
