I woke up in the morning (or was it afternoon?) and realized it was already the 7th of September. I saw my mother upside down (I sleep on the floor, I was still lying down and she was standing by the dresser which was right next to where my head was). She was fixing her hair into a ponytail, wearing her pink shirt and denim pants. It was clear to me that she was going out so I quickly muttered my greeting “Happy anniversary, Mom.”
“Thanks.” She said. Then I closed my eyes again, attempting to sleep more even though it was almost lunchtime. But then I heard loud laughter from the kitchen. It was my dad talking to our Indian flatmate. I remembered that there are always two people celebrating anniversaries, not only one. So that means I had to greet my father, too, or else I can’t say that I already greeted my parents. Duh.
“Did you greet your father already?” Mom asked. I said “No, he’s talking to someone. Maybe later.” I tried sleeping again, but seeing my laptop awakened me. So I got up, swept the floor and then wiped the table so I can go online again and play with websites (and people, if there are real people in the internet).
The rest of the day went on (when I mean “rest of the day”, that’s the time I just tweeted, youtube-d, etc). My mom told me to iron the clothes. I told my mom “Can I do it tomorrow? I promise I’ll finish them all tomorrow.” She got a little mad and said “You keep putting things off for tomorrow. If you don’t do it then get your trolley bag and pack your things now.”
Uhm. No, she didn’t say that because she’s kicking me out of the house. She said that because we’re moving soon :P
And then I felt bad about it because I didn’t pack my stuff either. And it’s their anniversary. Way to go, Me.
I sat down again. Took pictures and played around the house, annoyed my little sister, sang songs, etc until evening came. I took a bath, and then I blow-dried my hair. I put make-up on because I was feeling the specialness of the day. I put my eyeliner until I could barely see my eyes, chukchukchuk!!
YOU FOUND THE SECRET EXCLAMATION MARK! I shall tell you where my secret blog is. It’s here. Will you end your comment with a “I FOUND YOU CHIUI!” to let me know you found this? ;) Thanks!
I got irritated because I thought it was black eyeliner, but it’s not. It was blue. Dammit. Then I put the rest of the make-up on.
When I was done with my face, I dressed up. I wore my black leggings with my black whatchumacallit blouse and my gray cardigan. Uh, I wasn’t happy with it so I changed. I wore a red farmer shirt with the black leggings but it made me look wasted so I changed again. I changed and changed some more until I just chose to wear my pink blouse with polka dots. I slipped in my flats and got my camera ready.
Finally my Dad came back from work. We went outside the flat, went to the taxi parking, opened the taxi door, got in the taxi, closed the door, told the driver where, sat for a bit, told him to stop right there next to the mall, looked at the meter, gave him the amount of money which was displayed on the meter, thanked the driver, got off, closed the door, and then walked inside Marina mall.
We went to eat at Zyng Asian Grill. We know the chef there so my parents decided to celebrate in that place. I ordered Korean BBQ Beef (Bulgogi). We took some pictures while waiting. We ate the appetizers. Took pictures. Chatted a little. Then the main dish, yum. I remembered my current favorite Korean drama (My Girlfriend is a Ninetailed Fox) while I was eating.
As we were taking more pictures, I realized that one guy from the other table was staring at us. Or me. I’m not sure. I think he was around 30 years old. I was grossed out so I stopped taking pictures for a while. But then after a few minutes I completely forgot about it so I took pictures again. But then I saw him again so I stopped taking pictures again.
We paid the bills (I mean, my parents did) and then went on to walk around. We saw that there was a children’s (mascot) show downstairs and we were able to see it through the “hole” (How do I call the central holes at the center of the mall? XD). I took pictures of them but I deleted them because they were irrelevant for me. Then I realized that it was already 12 am. Why is a children’s show being held at 12 am? And why are there so many children here right now? I’m confused.
And then they said we were going to grab some ice cream at another mall. It didn’t make sense to me as to WHY we have to transfer to another mall just for ice cream. But whatever, it’s their day so I just tagged along like a good pup. We went outside the mall, saw that there was a loooong line of passengers, but there were no taxis. We chose to take the bus instead. While waiting, I felt a familiar feeling.
Me: This makes me feel like a Sim waiting for a taxi Downtown.
Bro: The Sims? Ah.
Dad: You’re crooked. You should feel reality while playing a game, not feel like playing a game while you’re in reality.
He’s right. My brain is upside down. I need a rehab from the computer. Then we got on the bus. When we got on the bus, it was already 1 am so we just went straight home. And I was craving for ice cream  Whatever, it’s their day. It’s. Their. Day. That’s what I just thought so I won’t be too pissed off.
We arrived home. I took off my makeup, got ready for bed, but I still checked Tumblr, and then went straight to bed. I couldn’t sleep right away so I got my notebook and scribbled possible domain names that I could register for an official photoblog. I got tired of thinking so I fell asleep.
I woke up this morning and realized right away that I forgot to greet my Dad yesterday.
ha, anniv? i never experienced greeting my parents(well, they separated!)…
At least you remembered that you forgot to greet em, bawi ka nalang!…..that 30-yr-old guy!, who cares if you take pictures?…..lols, but sometimes that’s pretty funny and shy to take photos anywhere cause people will really stare at you! (hey, im not a criminal yaW!)

OMG NO. You forgot to tell your dad happy anniversary! T_T I would be pretty disappointed if I were in your place. I do feel awkward greeting my parents though, haha. Your dad seemed cool the whole day though! :) I liked that comment he made..
Makes me think that I shouldn’t feel like I’m in a game in reality. I don’t think it’s happened to me all that much. But you know how I know I’m addicted to them? I start talking about health potions and mana in real life… and other weird things. LOL.
My parents’ anniversary is in January, hehe!
Whenever I wake up and feel like going back to sleep, I don’t. I don’t even try. Usually my phone alarm wakes me up, and the next second, I’m opening the Mail app… D:
