In my previous post, I mentioned that I love stories. I do! I love stories. That’s why I love reading books and watching movies. I do not like gossiping though.
Anyway, if there’s one odd thing that I like to do when I am bored, it’s creating mini big stories inside my head. For example, last night, I wrote this on my journal:
“I love you”, she said.
I jumped right out the window.
I’m pretty sure there’s a more correct term for that, but I choose to call them mini big stories. You can come up with a lot of different stories from two simple sentences. Why did the narrator jump? Was he philophobic? It is also possible that the girl jumped first before saying “I love you” for the last time, and then the narrator jumped out to follow her, either to die with her or to save her. Were they in a romantic relationship? Was the narrator a guy or a girl? Or was it a casual “I love you”, and the narrator was actually a superhero who often jumps out of the window to fly and save innocent people from the hands of the bad guys?
Try this: picture an unpleasant-looking girl who is overweight (or maybe even obese), also a hopeless romantic. Imagine her taking a very sharp razor and then looking at it intently. What happens next? Is she going to cut herself because she is tired of her eating problems and all the bullies at school?
Or maybe she’s just going to finally groom her eyebrows to perfect shape.

I’d love to read some mini big stories from you if any of you happen to think of some. Exercise your imagination!
This reminds me of some hidden messages in literature.
Here’s mine:
“I’ve been waiting for you,” they said.
The man locked the door.
It’s really creative. A lot of questions can be asked and the “mini big story” is open for many interpretations.
Maybe I can write some “mini big stories” when I’m bored. :)
