Rotten Diva

Hi beebeez!

I want to thank you guys for the feedback on the photos that I posted. :) I use Nikon D3000. I’m just a starter so I got this camera. It is best recommended for newbies! This model is really nice since it has a guide/tutorial mode. I don’t use the guide anymore because it’s pretty easy to operate once you get the hang of it. It took me just 2 days to learn it. The guide mode was quite helpful for me :o k:

Also, I don’t have any other camera accessories. Some of the pictures that I posted were taken with a manual camera (film) and I just scanned them, so some look naturally vintage :D About the other pictures, I just play with colours and lighting and then if it’s necessary, I process them using Photoshop. Well, sometimes I use my camera’s picture editor so I don’t have to edit them with Adobe Photoshop afterwards. I’m too lazy to double edit :?:

Anyway, I realized I’ve been destroying myself lately :o

Whenever I have free internet time (times when I’m not in the mood to tweet, tumble, go on Facebook or other stuff like that), I read blogs about skincare, fashion and the like. Just today, I read this (5 Beauty Tips That Let Your Inner Diva Shine) and realized that wow, I don’t follow any of these- and to think these are only the basic and most common rules. Sheesh. I’m a superoverlymajor (?) idiotic girl… still a rotten diva

So:

  1. I need to eat more fruits and vejjoez.
  2. I need to stop sitting all day and start exercising. (Uh, about this one… I can’t do it right now  *excusesexcuses*)
  3. Get more zzzzzzzz’s and when I say more, I mean MOAR!
  4. Stop being so down and emo and all that crap (pretty easy for me).
  5. LAV MAHSULF

Yep. And yay more pictures from my Tumblr :aww:

PS: We’re leaving this place (Abu Dhabi, UAE) next week! It’s time to meet Canada! I’m hopeful that we’ll find a really good place to stay in :)

PPS: It’s my parents’ anniversary on the 7th. I’m excited ♥

Chiui! Hey!

FIRST ONE TO COMMENT! YEEEAH! I haven’t said this before, but I know you’ve heard it quite a lot –you’re photos are pretty! You’re really good at it Chiui. :o k: :o k: And I like that it looks vintage. Makes them seem easy on the eyes.

About those tips to let your inner diva shine, the best people to take advice from would be Key and Jo Kwon for sure.

I’m excited for Canada!

My parents once told me that I woke them up because I yelled really loudly in the early morning.

I have two cameras: a Nikon Coolpix 8400 and a small Olympus…something. I use my Olympus for simple things, but I use the Nikon more because it has a rechargeable battery.

The key to having beautiful skin is to eat healthy foods and wash your face often.

I love the photos, especially the last one. You’re really good at taking pictures.

Nice pics! :D the peaches look yummy! Have fun in Canada! Are you going to see Niagara Falls?

[Reply]

yay for canada! i hope you have a lot of fun in good ol’north america! and as for the skincare stuff… i remember in middle school/high school, i was always like “eff that, i don’t need to go through these extensive regimens to have clear skin because 1) i’m not that high maintenance and 2) i already have clear skin!” but now… i should probably start doing that, because what do you know… i need it. :D anyway, do share anymore tips you find (that are preferably really simple and highly effective), and i’ll take mental note!

I just realized that a lot of bloggers are into photography talaga noh? Hehe.. I should check that out, hehe. It’s nice to detox once in a while.. :)

[Reply]

nice photos :o k:

Haha so cute! You list of 5 things was funny :P

Looks like you’re enjoying your camera! I love taking pictures myself, but just for fun and I don’t have a professional camera. I actually still have the first digital camera my mom ever bought me from seven years ago and it’s finally dying now haha.

I know about those beauty tips but haven’t been doing many of them. Been pretty stress lately and not sleeping enough. I’ve noticed a big change in my skin and breaking out loads.

I recently got a DSLR (I got canon 500D) and I’m still such a noob at it. I don’t really know how to use it properly! I’m starting a photoblog to help improve my photography skills.

I love your photos! We’re both newbies pala. :D I’m experimenting with my Dad’s DSLR (Nikon D90) too.

I should go exercise too. Pero nakakatamad. :) )

Have a safe trip to Canada. :D Hope you’ll be able to find a nice place to stay in there. :)

Happy anniversary to your parents! :D Congratulations to them.

I think my friend told me about the Nikon being a good beginner camera. I love your shots; the ones in this post are soooo pretty. *_* The DSLR I have doesn’t have any other lenses, so it’s all boh-ring~

I have a film camera in my room. I don’t know what it’s doing there. I had taken photos a while ago and my brother opened the cartridge… so all the effing photos I took were gone, just like that. Since then I haven’t touched the camera. :(

IS THAT CLOCKWORK ORANGE IN THE PHOTO XD I STILL need to read that…

I need to stop eating junk food. I ate a lot of KFC in the past few days. I need to exercise more too.

Haha! Dont feel so bad Chi! I dont follow any of those rules either and folks always call me a diva (I think its cause of the makeup and hair maybe?? idk Lol). Youre still awesome!
Love the photos btw :)

[Reply]

Haha – it’s so funny that you said you need to eat more fruits and excercise and then you go take a picture of fruits and rollerblades xD

Ouu Canada! I love my good ole Canada, where abouts are you staying? Probably somewhere nice like Vancouver, BC. Ontario is great too – that’s where I grew up!

Happy Anniversary to your parents! =)

Take care xx

I love the way you list all the things you need to work on and take pictures to go with it. The chain and heart locket in the picture are really lovely! :D

It also sucks that you have to miss your friends when they are away but you know no matter how great the distance your real friends will always be there :) And it’s always nice to meet new people right  Btw, Thank you for the visit and comment dear! ♥

I have a Nikon D3000 too! Yayyy! I love it. Its so amazing :) I need to follow you on tumblr man..I’ll get on that. Great pictures though! You are really good.

Drinking water isn’t on there? I thought that was super important…

Excited for your move! Do you know where your going yet?

And happy anniversary to your parents! How many years? :)

[Reply]

THAT IS AMAZING (: I absolutely love your pictures. Would you mind me using some in a future layout or something? :D You should make some stock pictures. Seriously, they are so epic. Perhaps one day I’ll just print a bunch out and make a collage for my room :D

Epic camera. I want one of those :D My cousin has one of those, and it’s prettttyyyyy.

You live in Abu Dhabi? :D Cools. Oh well hello Canada. Good luck with the move (:

And happy anniversary to your parents! (:

I joined the musical last year. The year before, I didn’t get a part, but last year I did :D Acting is a lot different for me than singing. Musicals are mainly singing…sooo I enjoy those a lot more. Although I was part of One Acts last year, which are student run one acts. And I played a mom :D It was fun.

I’m trying to join a lot of orgs this year, I didn’t really last year :P

xDDD I’d love to watch your vlogs if you still make em :D

You have amazing photos and they do look vintage! Naturally vintage, which is always great! :) I used to have twitter but I do have Facebook, only for me I try to spend time on my site, then again it’s hard because I get caught up in other stuffs.
I hope everything works out for you in Canada! Have fun! Also Happy Anniversary to your parents! :D

[Reply]

i think you really have the eyes to capture the beauty in every little thing. that’s wht matters right. its not the camera. its you. and i really think you are great at it. :)

[Reply]

I love your pictures. You are a great photographer :D

[Reply]

That camera looks great! I’ve been thinking about buying a “real” cam for a while but everything is so expensive it’s making me cry. ;__; I’ll check out your cam in the stores, thanks for sharing! Your photos are beautiful, like everyone else here, I love the vintage effects.

I also read the beauty tips, lol, I was my face with cold water, cleanse with lemon, drink water as often as I can and pop down vitamin supplies every now and then. I can never go for the really hardcore ones (like the Aspirin mask) but I don’t get acne-rashes, only some small zits and blackheads.

As for your diva-list:

1. This is easy to do if you snack on “good” fruits like papaya, mango and melons. Bananas, apples, oranges and pears gets boring in the long run.
2. You can sit AND train. :D Shake and stretch your leg whenever you can, lol. I also do face massage when I’m on the computer. This nerd is fit.
3. Sleep is good. I like to sleep.
4&5. This comes naturally if you do the above for a while.

Before you know it, you’ll become a *cough*narcissist*cough* DIVA!. :D

Really cool that you’re moving to Canada? Good luck finding a place, I heard it’s really great there. :)
