In some ways, I agree with Vonnegut. I still don’t think we have to sacrifice our faith and beliefs in order to study and understand science, but science can tell you a lot of things about the world. It can even teach you things about your life. Now, I am not a science person, but I am trying to make an effort in order to become more aware of what’s going oh, physically, around me.

Stephen Hawking wrote a pretty good book called A Briefer History of Time, which, I assume, was written as simply as possible so that more kinds of people can understand it. It’s mainly about the universe (astronomy) which I find extremely interesting. I suggest you read it! I have yet to finish it.

There are also a lot of sites that post recent updates about the world of science, one of which is SciTechDaily.com.
