I asked love to follow my steps. I asked love to come in through the front door.
I liked him. Who doesn’t? As I was on the stairs, I told Love, “Won’t you please give me sign?” I prepared to look back. “If he would use this staircase and talk to me, I will allow myself to like him.”
I looked back. I saw a huge crowd of people. The guy isn’t there. Nope. He wasn’t.
I walked even more slowly. “Again.”
I looked back again, with the hopes that he might just be talking to a friend and then after that he would use the stairs. He wasn’t there. So I moved on.
“No hope. No hope. No hope. No hope…” I continuously murmured to myself while I was walking.
And then I heard a familiar voice calling me, “Chiui!”
It was him. He said this with a wave of his hand. He used the back door of the building. I was startled. With a surprised look on the face, I waved back.
Step by step by step by step… We walked together step by step.
So does that mean that if you invite love to come in it doesn’t follow you, but it surprises you with its own entrance through your heart? Isn’t that pretty annoying? Aren’t we told to knock first before we enter if we’re about to enter a place which isn’t our property? Does that mean that love has no manners? Or is it just part of love’s sweetness?
So does that mean that love only comes in when we do not expect it to come? When we’re unprepared? When we’ve already given up?
I hate this. I seriously hate this. I enjoyed the walk, but not liking someone. I do not wish to continue.
Because I asked for a sign and I got an answer. This is not love! I wonder how long I am going to wait just to know what true love is. I have the urge to write about it. I wish to describe it. And then keep it.

Love can be pretty selfish sometimes. I guess you shouldn’t have to ask for love, but I think it’s a part of it being so sweet.

I am not an expert on love. I have had my heart broken a lot of times already. I have asked for a sign.. but failed to see one.
I do believe that love comes unexpectedly. I don’t know what others would say about love. But it happened to me unexpectedly because he came when I wasn’t asking for anyone at all.
Maybe, the way love enters your life differs from one person to another. It may be brought by signs or it may come unexpectedly.
P.S
New URL. My subdomain got fixed. Kindly update my link. Sorry for the hassle, Chiui. I hope it wouldn’t be too much. Anyway, thanks a lot!

Hmmm…well, love has a lot of surprises in store. It never really follows rules or conventions when you welcome it. It’s the reason why we’re told not to look for love but to patiently wait for it. Love has his own ways. I don’t believe we are ever unprepared for love, because God has given us endless capacity to love and be loved, maybe it’s that sometimes we fail to recognize love for what it is, or refuse because it is not what we want. I will pray for you on this one. May you be friends with love soon!
*hugs*

That’s so pretty. And such a nice way of expressing things.
And I’ve always thought that love wanders in unexpected. I think it appears when we least expect it to, when we’ve given up looking and just given up, it’ll appear. I don’t think you can find love if you go hunting for it.
Love is just such an enigma!

there are a lot of ways wherein love can take its place, maybe that’s one or not. i cant judge. but i also hate the confusion that it brings.
